Outlander MCAL

Outlander is a beautiful triangle shape shawl that both enjoyable to make and easy to wear. This shawl can be made both in lace or fingering weight yarn. As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with row-by-row written direction in US crochet term and charts.

Material:
Lace weight:
800 (1050, 1400, 1700) yards / 730 (960, 1280, 1555) meter.
1 (2, 2, 3) skeins of Rendezvous Pleasure 40% Cashmere/60% Silk; 880 yards /100g)
or
Fingering weight: 500 (750, 1000, 1250) yards / 460 (685, 915, 1150) meter.
2 (2, 3, 3) skeins of Rendezvous Timeless 50% Alpaca/25% Silk/25% Linen; 440 yards/100g)

Hook:
2.75 mm (C) for lace weight yarn.
3.75 mm (F) for fingering weight yarn.
0.60 mm (16 US) steel crochet hook for beads (optional),

Notion:
Removable stitch markers or scrap yarn.
526 (737, 984, 1265) size 8 beads for lace weight yarn (optional).
351 (526, 737, 984) size 6 beads for fingering weight yarn (optional).

The Secret Garden MCAL

The Secret Garden is a beautiful crescent shape shawl that both enjoyable to make and easy to wear. This shawl is designed with lace weight yarn in mind, but there is no reason why you could not crochet it in a heavier weight yarn as long as adjust your yardage and hook size.
As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with row-by-row written direction in US crochet term and charts.

Suggested yarn: Rendezvous Pleasure Lace

Finished Sizes (in blocking board): 

Wingspan: 35.4 (44.9, 54.3, 63.8)" / 90 (114, 138, 162) cm.

Proud as A Peacock Mystery CAL

"Look at me!" The peacocks shout, then they fan their feathers out. 

Their feathers reach up to the sky, each one has a big, dark eye.

Proud as a Peacock is a deep triangular shawl that can be made with only one skein of lace yarn This shawl is crocheted from the neck down, and can be adjusted very easily depending on the amount of yarn you have. As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with row-by-row written direction in US crochet term and charts.

Suggested yarn and yardage needed: 
Any lace yarn.
I used Rendezvous Silky Lace 50% Merino wool/50% Silk.
For 1 skein shawl, I used Sleeping Beauty colorway 1 skein (100g, 800 yards).
For 2 skeins shawl, I used Emerald colorway 2 skeins (200 g, 1600 yards).

Note: Although I give approximate yardage for each sizes, you can adjust the size easily depend on the yardage you have by reduce or increase the total number of repeats.

Gauge: The first 9 rows, you will get 28 cm (11”) wingspan and 13 (5.1”) deep. This measurement is after blocking. Every additional repeat of rows 10 - 15 you add 5.5 cm (2.2”).

Finished Sizes (in blocking board):
One skein shawl: 176 cm (69.3”) across top edge, 84 cm (33.1”) depth.

Hook: 3.50 mm (US).
Adjust hook size accordingly if you use thinner/thicker yarn.

Notion: Removable stitch markers, beads (optional). See table for the number of beads needed.
Note: Option 1 and option 2 are using same amount of beads, but for option 1 you use larger beads for the last row. Option 3 if you only want to use beads on last row only (you can use size 6 or 8).

Level: Intermediate

Saltire Mystery CAL

Since I did Mystery Knit Along, I think it's only fair that I also do Mystery Crochet Along. It's called Saltire Mystery CAL.

A saltire is a heraldic symbol in the form of a diagonal cross ☓ or letter x. I name this shaw Saltire because you can find a lot of x-stitches all over the shawl.
Saltire is a half circle-ish shaped shawl with interesting construction. You can make this shawl with 1 color or 2 colors. Both give you stunning result.
Instruction come in 2 sizes, small and large, but you can adjust the size. As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with both written instructions and charts.

Suggested yarn and yardage needed: Any sock yarn (920 - 1,600 yards)
You need at least 2 skeins of yarn to do a small size shawl (if you are not a tight crocheter like me most likely that you need 3 skeins) and 4 skeins to make the large one.
For 2 colors shawl the ratio is 50:50.
Note:
I used Rendezvous Forever Sock 2 skeins (200g, 920 yards) for small size.

Hook: 4.50 mm (G) and 5.00 (H) (adjust hook size accordingly if you use thinner/thicker yarn)
