Sizes: See measurement table. The sizing of the sweater is easy to customize. I’ve included sizing guidelines, but keep in mind that you can control the size. I also included tips how to make it fit to your own measurement. Since this is knitted from top down, you can try it as you go!
Needle: 3.25 mm (size 3) for fingering weight and 4 mm (size 6) mm for DK
Yarn: Fingering weight or DK weight
Yarn requirement:
Fingering Weight: XS: 1000 meter, S: 1100 meter, M: 1200 meter, L: 1300 meter, XL: 1400 meter, XXL: 1500 meter, XXXL: 1600 meter
DK Weight: XS: 700 meter, S: 775 meter, M: 850 meter, L: 925 meter, XL: 1000 meter, XXL: 1075 meter, XXXL: 1150 meter
Notion: Tapestry needle, button (optional), ribon (optional), marker, scrap yarn
Gauge:
Fingering Weight: 30 sts and 40 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch (St st) using 3.25 mm needle or adjust the needle size to get gauge.
Double Knit Weight: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch (St st) using 3.5 mm needle or adjust the needle size to get gauge.
Difficulty: Intermediate (it's very easy actually, only the lace part that is a bit challanging for beginners).

Hi Lily, thanks for checking out the halter top I made for my daughter. The Mary Maxim cotton thread is great to work with and definitely a good bargain. I have used it on many projects, and it never splits, and has a nice weight. I love it, give it a try. Again, the Sunshine top is beautiful.
