Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair, 
so that I may climb the golden stair. 

Rapunzel, Let Down Your Hair is a half circle shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. The pattern is worked on the both the wrong and right sides. Pattern includes charts and written directions. If you would like to add beads to your shawl, I include instructions on where to place the beads.

Suggested yarn: Rendezvous Treasure.
Sample is in Rampion colorway. You can buy the yarn in my Etsy store.

Yardage needed for S (M, L, XL, XXL): Rendezvous Treasure 397 (566, 831, 1081, 1358) yard / 363 (517, 759, 988, 1241) meter fingering weight yarn.

Wingspan: 106 (120, 144, 164, 184) cm / 41.7 (47.2, 56.7, 64.6, 72.4) ”
Depth: 43 (51, 63, 71, 79) cm / 16.9 (20.1, 24.8, 28, 31.1) ”

Needle:
Size 4 US / 3.50 mm circular needle, at least 24” / 60 cm long. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Size 7 US / 4.50 mm (or bigger) circular needle, at least 24” / 60 cm long.

Notions: Tapestry needle, blocking pins, size 14 US / 0.75 mm steel crochet hook for beads (optional), stitch markers 12 pcs, 198 (252, 574, 697, 820) pcs size 6/0 glass seed beads (optional).

Materials: Rendezvous Treasure (440 yd/100g skein; 70% Bluefaced Leicester / 20* Silk / 10% Cashmere) in Rampion colorway

Quantity: 2 skeins

Beads: Miyuki Berry Lined Light Topaz AB size 6

Needle: 3.50 mm and 4.50 mm

Start Date: 25 May 2016

Finish Date: 9 June 2016

Finished Size on Blocking Board: Wingspan: 144 cm / 56.7" ; Depth: 63 / 24.8"

I used 2 skeins to make the Large size, and although the yarns were from the same batch somehow they are slightly different. As you can see from the photo above, the edging part has slightly more yellow than the body.

Outlander MCAL

Outlander is a beautiful triangle shape shawl that both enjoyable to make and easy to wear. This shawl can be made both in lace or fingering weight yarn. As with all my other patterns, this pattern comes with row-by-row written direction in US crochet term and charts.

Three Wishes Pattern

FO: Three Wishes Cowl

Last year, I have a surprise cowl MKAL called Three Wishes. The clue release everyday for a week. Since cowl is not a big item. I think knitter will have no problem to knit a clue a day. Plus, by the end of a week they will have additional Christmas gift. So, here is the mystery cowl looks like.

You can wear it like this:

I purposely designed the top part of the cowl with reversible stitch, so you can fold the top part of the cowl and still looks nice.

The beads are on the edging only, since I don't want the cold glass bead touching my neck
