Rendezvous Shawl Knitting Pattern for Sale

Rendezvous is a triangle-shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. This time I knit this shawl using light fingering weight yarn that my husband dyed for me.
Pattern includes charts and written directions, and instructions to calculate the stitch count totals for every row. I also include the number of stitches to cast on and the yardage for a different number of repeats.

Technical Editor: Chaitanya Muralidhara

Suggested yarn: Any sock yarn.
I used Rendezvous Yarn 100% Merino Superwash (Burnt Orange color) 1 skein (100g, 490 yards) for 9 repeats (I only had a few yards left over, so I suggest doing 8 repeats if you are not a tight knitter like me).

Gauge: See instruction in the pattern.

Yardage Needed:

Finished Size (9 repeats): 55" wide by 26.5" deep
Needle: 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.0 mm (US 6) circular needle, 32" or longer.
Notions: stitch markers (optional)
Level: Advanced

  1. OMG, Lily, your work is just breathtaking.

Have you thought about submitting a design to Twist Collective or Interweave Knits to get more exposure? I think everyone should know about your lace designs! They're unique and stunning.

  2. Thank you Suzanne. Yes, I am thinking about it, but still haven't got the courage to do it :) Probably one of these days...

  3. Wow, that is just stunning. I'd love to make it! But I'm curious: Is there patterning on every row? Or every second row?

    Thank you!
